Tunguska

"Tunguska"

Watercolor on paper, 30 Dec. 2005

7:17 am, 30 June 1908, at 60°55′N 101°57′E, you didn't want to be there. A titanic explosion took place just over the ground, destroying everything for many miles around. I tried to imagine ground zero in that very same moment.

We don't appreciate things we love until we lose them. Changes can happen in a split second... and by then it's too late to do whatever was pending. Don't ever delay saying "I love you" to those you really do love, because you don't know if there will be a better "now" to say it... "Tunguskas" of all kinds can happen in our lives far more often than we think...
