It is possible to achieve interesting effects using photographic techniques - In this experiment I "focused" the far landscape, while the nearest trees are "out of focus", giving a sense of depth that normally is made with intensity of color only. Note that the sun looks more real if it has a color rim around, leaving the center almost white.
